I really like the acacia door it would make a sweet door for like a log cabin or something..

I kind of wish that the door models weren't restricted to certain types of planks, and that you could change which door model you got by altering the recipe (e.g. top two layers sticks and bottom layer oak planks would give you the acacia door, but with oak plank coloration; solid oak planks would give you the dark oak door but with oak coloration; top layer iron and bottom two layer oak planks would give you the spruce door but with oak coloration, etc etc etc). But it's fine as-is.

Oh wow, I just noticed that your post is gone, and I must say that is unfair, though perhaps it is because the person that deleted it did not come back later after DerpBoy posted.

The spruce doors are like pirate doors. or maybe a log cabin, perhaps in the next snapshot we will get more chests? and the spruce one will look like a pirate chest?, i have to build a pirate ship now.

Looks nice. The dark oak door looks yummy.

I love how when developers (of any game) say, "No more new features until the release", then follow up a week later by adding a dozen different things. Excuse? "Oh, yeah, those were already in the code. We just fixed the 'bug' where they weren't 'active' yet. :D)/

Cool. but for some reason if you use pick block it gives you oak, or if you break the block beneath them, it gives you oak

I have fallen in love with the spruce door.

It'll stop the haters complaining about no variety, that's for sure!

Personally the variety is good. Maybe you want an adventure map with a door that you can't see on the other side. Or for in-home doors.

Jungle and Birch in my opinion don't look too great, but the rest are amazing. Especially the spruce door (perfect for castles) and the dark oak door (pretty modern look to it) This is a lot better then what I thought colored wood doors would look like. (Like oak doors)

I love the new doors, the only problem I have with them is the textures in the inventory. They should be consistent with the first wooden door sprite.

I don't think anyone was complaining about a lack of variety in the building aspect of Minecraft.

this will help builders like me to add more interesting interior and exterior designs. I also like that the doors are not the same doors with different color.
