I just discovered that not only can you teleport things to you, but apparently you can teleport yourself to mobs. I thought I tried that on earlier snapshots, but today I found out that you can send yourself to every mob out there. This means a quick way to scan for villages while testing out a new seed. Heck maybe it could be used to auto-teleport somebody to primed TNT on a server to catch griefers red-handed.
All I did was type in /tp @e[type=whatever] and it teleports me around all over the place. I can just do @e and I will go everywhere, or I can select a mob type and it will send me all around until it reaches the last one on the list. I can even warp to minecarts with chests inside them or villagers as long as both are within range. Come to think of it, I wonder if this is actually a bug?
If this is a bug, it is a bug. If it is something for real, NOTCH JEB OR DINNERBONE PLS REMOVE IT. IT IS CONSIDERED A CHEAT.
Yes, its a cheat, but like all the other commands (which, might I add, are also cheats) you have to have cheats enabled to do it. So, by extension, you're basically saying that every command should be removed.

If you don't want cheats, just disable cheats, or enable cheats for server administrators/moderators only. Don't request to remove the entire cheat system completely, please.
This may sound interesting but, what if you can also teleport to even falling sand? As Falling Sand is an entity, I'm not entirely sure of that.
Also I just tested this, and it's legit although it might cause some major chunk problems on worlds you just generated, trying waiting around a bit in a world before typing /tp @e. It might also work better on slower computers, as on mine I could barely see anything I arrived at.

Cheats count for all commands, Also, this: "NOTCH JEB OR DINNERBONE PLS REMOVE IT. IT IS CONSIDERED A CHEAT." won't fly here. "PLS" don't demand things to be changed about the game, the devs work hard enough already.
The problem is that the game only searches in the loaded chunks for the mob/entity, and if you're in creative you can probably just fly up to look for a village instead of using the command to find a villager.
That said, it does open the possibility of having "waypoints" within the loaded chunks. For example, if there's some place I want to teleport to a lot, but I can never remember the coordinates, I could put a cow named "Hub" there, and always teleport to it using /tp @a[type=Cow,CustomName="Hub"]

You are wrong. Villager should have a capital "V". Also interesting enough is you need to not use the player name for it to work. You can send a mob to your location just fine, but if you reverse it, it won't work. That's why I wonder if it's a bug.
If you're reading this, then you're definitely not a sandwich.

Sorry, my dear, but I don't give a snickerdoodle.
Spoiler alert!

v
you would type /tp drok0920 @e[type=Cow]
OR
/tp drok0290 @e[type=Chicken]
ect.
/tp @e[type=villager]
Correct me if I am wrong
