Looks like this topic's coming up again. My opinion on this? I personally don't think a Minecraft movie would be all that great. Oh, I'd love to see it, but my guess is that whoever makes it doesn't have sufficient knowledge to really do Minecraft justice in a movie format. Basically, the movie should be made by people who know a lot about Minecraft.. I swear, if some company like Disney comes and decides to try it... and like people have been saying, it better not be animated.
Yeah, you're right. Minecraft is much more of a complicated thing than Lego.

I'm on a bit of a hiatus from playing Minecraft, so I'm not so active in this forum, either. I still check it though, and participate in a few discussions.
It has not been confirmed that they will actually make a movie yet, so if they are making it, it won't be coming out for a while.

I am not going to read the other 50 or so pages to see if anyone had this idea, but perhaps Herobrine will make at least a hidden cameo/easter egg appearance if not the main antagonist.

There will always be that kind of a moment at least once in everyone's life. That moment when your sitting there listening to someone going down memory lane, but really not listening at all.
I remember seeing the lego movie at the movies a couple months ago. It was awesome. I was actually hoping they'd do a Minecraft movie. I really hope it happens. I'd go see it
