My friends and I are playing on a world that was already somewhat huge and we decided to come back now with 1.20 update. The server host used a program do selectively reset chunks of the workd, and then he updated it to 1.20. While exploring the world, i was able to find multiple desert pyramids and wells but couldn't find a single suspicious sand, is that expected?
The general rule is that you need to explore *new* chunks, that nobody ever explored and that the server did not pregenerate before the update. Are you sure these chunks were actually reset, and not just re-generated under old rules?
