I think we can all agree that Minecraft Feedback needs to change. Firstly, I want to mention that I am currently unable to login to Minecraft Feedback. When I login, it automatically logs me back out. I have contacted Minecraft Help Center, Microsoft Support, and Minecraft Bug Tracker. I only got a reply back from the Minecraft Help Center. They told me there have been other people with this same issue before and that there is nothing they can do about it. I have tried everything they suggested, but nothing is working to fix this problem. It is doing this on all my devices, but it only happens on Minecraft Feedback. I can login with my account on everything else, just not Minecraft Feedback. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Next, I wanted to talk about how it could be improved.
Rejected category: When a post is denied instead of being approved, it will be put in the rejected category. After a month of being rejected, it will be deleted. However, when a user edits their rejected post, it will be put back into pending.
Promotion category: This category will allow you to promote one of your posts. If there is one thing you would want to add to Minecraft, that is what the promotion category is for. If there is something you really want to be added to the game, this should prevent it from being buried in the thousands of ideas.
Posts should have a maximum length of 4500, instead of 1500. The Feedback Website should also be easy to use for the mobile version, and be able to import images. The graphics need to be completely redone! The Help Center has a nice green color, so maybe you could make the whole site like that. Usernames should be the player’s Minecraft usernames. They could also pick from a variety of default icons, which would allow for individuality. Also, animated Minecraft GIFs would be seen everywhere on the Feedback Website. The Help Center AI should be replaced with an actual AI like Chat GPT, so it can actually help users.
Pending will be changed
Pending will not be removed, but it will be changed.
Comments will not go into pending. It will be immediately approved! However, if a comment is reported, then the comment will be invisible until it is examined. Then it may become visible again if there was no issue or it may be deleted. If someone has a repeated pattern of reporting individuals who are not violating rules, then they will be temporarily banned for a week.
All posts will be put into pending regardless of the length of words. Posts will be put on a waitlist and they will be approved/rejected in the order of most recently made posts. Shorter posts and longer posts will have an equal opportunity to be approved. The moderators will have some default reasons to choose from for why they rejected the post. This will be quick for the moderators and helpful for the users. If there is a different reason, they can type a quick comment explaining their reason, which only the user will be able to see. This should prevent moderators from rejecting posts just because they are biased. When a post has been approved or rejected, you will get an automated email with information about it.
If a user edits a post, there will be a big label saying "Prior Approval", showing that this post was already approved, so only reject it if there is a major concern. Prior approval posts do not get rejected if there is a potential duplicate of the post.
Moderators can also look for really good ideas when they are approving and rejecting posts, and they can send it directly to Mojang.
Post limit
I think there should be a post limit, but not a comment limit. Users should only be able to create 5 posts. If they have 5 posts, they can only create a new post by deleting their post. Alternatively, the user could pay to make more than 5 posts. Like if you want to be able to make 6 posts, you can pay $1. And if you delete those posts, your maximum post number would remain at 6, so you never lose your money. While some of you might hate this idea, there are a few reasons why this is a good idea.
It would make your posts more visible, because users would not be able to post an infinite amount of posts.
Every idea would only be good ideas, because users would only share their most desired ideas.
If you need to create more posts for some reason, you will still be able to do so by paying a little bit of money. Most users should only need 5 posts though.
It would be another source of income for Mojang, which would be good for them.
This is happening to me too. Its frustrating because i really dislike the villager update and it seems a lot of people do too i wonder if thats why this started happening. They are working on an update no one likes.
I have always had problems with Minecraft Feedback's website: every time I make a suggestion or a comment it gets under the "under approval" state except in very few cases and it stays like that for a few days before disappearing.
The feedback which gets under approval is fitting to the topic, it is not duplicate and it is well written.
At the sime time it is common to find spam posts or low effort comments so I cannot get what is wrong with the website, is it just me who has difficulty to submit feedback or is it a common issue? https://omegle.onl/
I don't understand why my pieces of well written feedback do not make it while trash feedback gets somehow published.
