Bedrock edition is just a money printer for Microsoft and Java is just free advertising because of the sheer number of youtubers that use java, and to prove bedrock is a money printer, it's full of micro transactions with no warning pop-up and if you get banned from multi-player your Relms subscription isn't automatically cancelled, so your paying for something you can't even use.

Microsoft does not need the revenue of Minecraft! They have sooooo many sources of income, that is why they do not care Minecraft.

I started out on Java edition, but today I primarily play on the Bedrock Edition of the game because I was able to port my old console world to Bedrock. I can see both sides of the argument, but I think people overexaggerate how bad Bedrock Edition truly is. I have been playing Bedrock Edition since 2020 and never felt like I was being forced to purchase anything. I didn't need to.
The skin / avatar editor is entirely optional, and Minecraft Windows 10/11 edition (Bedrock Build) allows you to import external skins to the game.
The marketplace is a total cash grab, but again, it's completely optional. Since I've been playing Bedrock Edition these last three years, I've only opened it like five times. There is a good deal of external resource packs and worlds you can install online for free, making the marketplace redundant unless you're on a console edition of Bedrock.
If you don't want to use that stuff, then just don't use it.

No you're right
If we think that way, they will take little by little until it IS.
