So I'm playing Sky Factory 4 and have my platform build going, I grew some pumpkins for Jack o Lanterns and want to place them in the platform floor.

Problem is I need a block under the space for the pumpkin so that I can place the pumpkin

I know how to do the water flow trick to get underneath to place some blocks but that's tedious and time consuming

I googled the issue and saw that you can place a block under the block you are standing on if you crouch and right click to place block

but that doesn't work, apparently it's not true or been fixed

is there another way to place my Jack o Lanterns that anyone can think of

Edit: I'm sure this is possible to place blocks under other blocks that you can't see the bottom of as I've done it a few times accidently but was unable (at the time ) to duplicate

Other than the water flowing trick I'd assume if the modpack has a build wand that's about it I can't think of anything else than that or maybe a mod with a 'longer reach' whether on an armour piece or just in general changes that reach the player can place blocks. Or just position blocks however to get it under there.
