I had to migrate to a Microsoft account, my Minecraft account is under an old email I don’t have access to and it is making me send security instructions to the email I can’t get into before I can change the email. I had contacted support but just curious how long is their usual replies and would anything be able to be done?
I generally got a 'Minecraft Expert' within a few minutes, but these people seem to be a front-line screen…
[They may be expert at explaining the use of 'red ropes' or the difference between a cow and a creeper, but seemed to provide only 'canned' responses that appeared to indicate they had not trobled themselves to read the trouble ticket.]
After pointing out the failures of theis layers reponse the 'conversation' was unilaterally locked by the 'Expert' and notice given that "We're notifying our top experts."
The "Top Expert" in each case seemd to take 24-26 hours before initiating contact and again were of small help, with what appeared to be 'canned' or 'scripted' responses – as well as some hours for each reply cycle..
Note, however, that I retain access to the relevant email accounts…
which suggests my method of farbling at the system until it worked is unlikely to be effective unless/until you are able to bypass the need to receive migration codes at your original (now inaccessible) email.

DO NOT PM me, I am currently locked out of the PM system.

WARNING: I have an extemely "grindy" playstyle; YMMV — if this doesn't seem fun to you, mine what you can from it & bin the rest.
So the chances are I will get the account back? I cannot play the game without getting blocked by the Microsoft migration. I just need to change the email, I have access to the Mojang account itself just not the email to be able to access it for the security stuff that I have to do prior to changing the email.
Having the information from your receipt when you purchased Minecraft tends to be a must according to my Big Bro, he did too lose access to an account (before Microsoft Migration, but still), and needed to provide information from the purchase receipt in order to gain access to the account again.
Still have yet heard anything, I do not have the receipt since the game was bought 8-9 years ago, I don’t have access to the account’s email to do the security question set up to be able to change the email, is there still a chance they’d be able to do anything at all or is it beyond security measures with Microsoft?

Best of luck!
I gotcha, thank you very much
