so i’m trying to transfer my old minecraft worlds from my mac to my pc and i have no idea how to get a playable link to the worlds and i can’t find anything helpful online that’s not for an older version of minecraft. does anyone know how to help?
If you know where .minecraft is, and you know where the saves folder is, that is where your worlds are stored.
The link webrosc showed you should help.
But otherwise if you look at (username)Appdata/roaming/.minecraft/saves on PC and the equivalent location on Mac you should find it. Going to the resource packs menu and the left button in that menu from the title screen to open up that folder is a easy way to access it. I would do this before I pin the location in file explorer so I can avoid launching the game every time I want to do so (and I recommend this method to people learning how to install mods for the first time that are unfamiliar with how to reach that location).
You could either transfer the files to a USB and go between the devices.
If you have your Mac and PC on the same network transfer the files that way (I have no experience with Macs but I assume it's possible over the network if all devices on it are visible).
Or if you have a cloud option (say Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, etc.) you could move the world to there and on the other computer access it and move it.
