the pilligars attacted when i was selling stuff to the villager. now all the people are gone from the village. is it possible to repopulate. i have another village with people. can i increase that population and then try to get some to travel to th4 town without villagers???
Looks like you triggered a raid. If you kill a pillager captain (one with banner) you get Ill Omen effect. Entering a village with this effect triggers a raid. Next time after you fight pillagers, drink a bucket if milk before going to a village.
You also can't get villagers to just travel from their village. You have to forcefully transport them via boat or minecart. Even once transported, it might have to confine transported villagers so they cant leave their new village until they start using its beds/workstations.
Another option is to capture and cure two zombie villagers. Then the newly cured villagers will breed and repopulate the village. You'll need splash potions of weakness and golden apples.

Question 1: Is village just low on people or completely desolate?
Option A1: There are two or more villagers - in that case just sure they have steady food supply - and they will breed back to old population. Note that villagers eat only raw potatoes, carrots, bread, wheat and beetroots, and it works only if you throw them at villagers or let farmers harvest them from finished crops. Trading food for emeralds does not work like that.
Option B1: There is a lone survivor or everyone's dead. If so, proceed to...
Question 2: How far is the second village and do you have nether wart and brewing stands?
Option A2: The village is far, far away, and I have access to wart and stands - in that case you should trap and cure zombified villagers by first splashing them with potions of weakness and then giving them golden apples - just make sure they are safe there!
Option B2: Village is right over there OR I have no access to brewing gear OR I don't wanna bother with trapping zombified villagers - in that case just use a transport vehicle, boat or minecart.
Question 3: Boat or minecart?
Option A3: There is a river or ocean connecting both villages - in that case place down a boat in backup village, let that villager get inside, then hop yourself, crawl to the river, sail to the raided village and break the boat once there. It's easy.
Option B3: Land, only land - in that case use a minecart. If there is a slope downwards or flat ground, place normal rails and push the cart, then mine the ones behind the cart and place them in front of it. If there is a slope upwards, place powered rails all the way to the top, make sure they are powered by redstone and push the minecart into these rails.

Yes, if you bring more villagers into the empty village, they will settle there.
