So I've recently started playing minecraft with my 5 year old son after months of persuasion. We have started a world together and play on separate devices so we can play at the same time.
I have helped him with MC now for a good 6 months, and have watched numerous YouTube videos to build automatic farms and so on. (Iron farms Nd gunpowder are the most complex so far).
The thing with MC is there is so much useful tutorials on YouTube if you know what you're looking for. One thing I have struggled to find it essentially a basic walkthrough guide or some kind of good check list of an order of what is good to do as and when. So for example, we have started out world, built a few basic food farms, started a strip mine and started hunting for diamonds.
Just wondered if there was anything out there that we can use as a guide to give us some simple direction as we get real deep into it.
I know there's lots of survival series out there but I was hoping for something that was just a list or smaller video?
I just watched the video.
It's pretty good but for a new Minecrafter just learning I would suggest.
1. set Difficulty to Peaceful so you can't starve and no one will try to kill you while you learn basic skills.
2 set Allow Cheats: ON so that you can change Gamemode from Survival to Creative and back if you wish
3. In More World Options set the seed to "-4018631557176147027" That will spawn you near mountains, forest, and plains.
Enter everything between the "" marks without any extra spaces. In game you can enter /seed to check.
4. Click on Create world.
You will appear on a grassland (Plains) in sight of trees and a mountain with dirt and stone visible.
When you feel confident you can change Difficulty from Peaceful to Easy and meet some mobs.
