For those of you who doesn't know this, Minecon LIVE we get the option to choose which 3 biomes will Mojang develop next. The biomes are Badlands, Mountain, and Swamp. Personally i choose the mountain because they lack a lot of exclusive feature and only have Llama and emerald ore.

I will probably vote swamp because it's not a pain to climb up a swamp (for a start, there isn't anything to climb other than the vines) and for me it makes sense for swamps to have more features than mountains because the amount of things that can exist at sea level on Earth is higher than what can live at mountain level, yet I don't see any exclusive wild-life for swamps other than a random blue flower and the occasional witch that can spawn anywhere anyway.
For me it would be cool if they added anaconda's or crocodiles, but i'd prefer anaconda's because I like snakes.
Swamp for me. I think there's a lot more potential there.
Halloween is right around the corner so the timing is just perfect for some spooky additions. Just thinking about the many possibilities gets me very excited! Willow trees, poisonous plants, glowing mushrooms, fairy lights, giant reptiles, slimey things, swamp monsters, more witches, more magic, etc!
My opinion may change when the content for each biome update is released, but without that information I would vote for mountains, as the mountain biome could use some world generation changes and some more content. The badlands already has surface mineshafts and gold, and the swamp already has slimes, witch huts, and a unique flower.
How about we ditch the idea of voting and instead implement all of them. If you think about it modder of Biomes o' Plenty (Glitchfiend) add tons of new biomes and for Mojang, a multibillion company mind you, to keep up with a single person would probably take them about 15 years.
The mountains should be left alone I reckon, they serve their purpose, but the swamp is lackluster and gets little love, the witch huts are cool to find, but I'm hoping we can see some more love given to the Swamp biome.

Mods are different.
Mojang want to be very careful with the things they implement, they want to take things step by step so they can ensure that everyone will be satisfied.
What I mean by that is this; Mod creators don't have a massive responsibility, they also don't have over 100 million active players on their mod, Minecraft does, and everything they change is going to affect those 100 million+ people. So they need to be strategic.
I'm leaning towards mountains over swamps for the more "jagged" mountains more so than the snowier snow, and goats but it still depends. The trouble is these video showcases show so little information - all feel a little underwhelming. SO I hope they go into more detail for each at Minecon.
I feel like swamp votes will be swayed by boat chests - which should've been added regardless rather than part of a biome update. For me mountains need an overhaul - I think amplified can be too much sometimes and the only variety in mountains in are the (formerly named) extreme mountains with alternate stone types and are pretty barren. Regular mountains are too low and lack diversity especially when compared to Mountains from Alpha - Beta 1.8. They're all pretty similar and just feel like slightly big hills.

I’ll vote the desert. It’s been lacking in content for a while, and the addition of palm trees would be fantastic. And the meerkats are so cute!
oh wait...

Check out my suggestions! Here is one of them:
Swamp - you could do a lot more with these like make a Swamp Village, new monsters, and more.
I am most active on Discussion, but you'll see my messages all around the place since threads get moved a lot.
I'd like to see more realistic mountain ranges, I've always thought that they're a bit lacking.

The Swamp is basically desolate.
