What do you mean but short change game mode? Do you mean just switching from survival to creative or something like that?
Well, I guess it's somewhat of a good thing that I kept the old one and didn't jump right into putting it into it, by that I mean I made a copied called modded mod pack fix
Yes, simply go into creative to fix the mest up blocks.
As i say the other problems came from the mods and if u still have problems with them u better look on the mod forum side.
The peopel ther are more in the moding materia then i. (On the pure vanilla side only the level dat was corruptet.)
This is the map from the server, I play on with some friends. The server constantly crashes, when I try to start it. I´ve checked the crash-reports and googled the Problem. It seems that there is a corrupted chunck, but i am not sure. Maybe you can check it.
OK i look with "Minecraft-Region-Fixer" No errors detektet.
I load the world with MC-Edit, load fine and no errors was seen.
I look in some *.dat files with "NBTExplorer" and all loadebal and looks OK. (I don´t look in all the are hundrets off data lines.)
The Problem is some NBT error in the data files i think. (Some of the mod files need information and get them wrong from the files.)
Best place is on the modpack forum u server use.
In the past I've had problems with large chunks of my Minecraft world becoming corrupted, and people on this forum (I'm pretty sure it was Ritter_Kaldor, to be exact) were kind enough to lend their time to help me out. However, this time my problem is slightly different: Rather than large chunks of my world being corrupt, small block-size squares are, so that I can't place any blocks within certain spaces. I'm thinking that my world may be starting to get corrupted again, but I'm not certain.
Would anyone who knows what they're doing be willing to help me out with resolving this issue? I am backing up my world now, but I can post a link to it and my dxdiag information later if someone is able to work on it. Thanks!

If u past link to the world i can lok and try to fix, it will tak a littel time. (I have to mutch RL thinks at the moment, sorry.)
I have one of the servers that you download from minecraft.net that I use to play with someone and with problems regarding my internet I would like to just copy the save from the server folder to the singleplayer folder when I can't play on the server due to internet issues.
But I have the problem of it won't keep track of my inventory and location when moving from server to .minecraft saves folder.
It will keep track of stats, and world progress so I know the world is going through, and I don't wanna have to empty my inventory every time I log off to avoid having to just lose my inv when I move it from server to singleplayer.

Server and singelplayer save the player data differently.
Only fast thing is to start an local server with u normal server datas.
Server hold ale player information in the player folder and on singel the player inventori stord in the level.dat file.
P.S.: And that have nothing to do with defekt worlds. Next time use the right forum place.
That's no problem, I'm sure you're busy with more important things!
Do you mean the xyz coordinates? There are various spots throughout a area in my world. One such area is located at:
-231.154 / 64.00000 / 1405.201
That location is inside of a building and looks like this:
Feel free to break the signs/stone blocks and try to place a solid block back in their place, and you should find that the blocks won't place - they immediately disappear. (I placed the stone blocks by using water and lava, but I can't place anything in those spaces normally).
Another such location is located at -284.300 / 64.00000 / 1374.941, or here:
I can't place any blocks in front of the door or above it - like the example before, they just disappear immediately.
Also, I'm running Version 1.9.2. Hope this helps you in identifying the problem!

I see u Problem.
Pleas reinstall Minecraft. (Ore if u use Texture/Resurcespack deactivate them)
U dident see Golems in u Minecraft version and on booth places u tell my are Golems. After i move the golems its no Problem to set a Blocks.
All right, thanks! Turns out that's actually a really simple issue. I'll try to reinstall later and see if it resolves my problem.
It sounds like you may be experiencing this issue, which has been linked to using a lower render distance and affects spawn chunks; the coordinates you gave seen a bit far away (spawn is usually within a couple hundred blocks of 0, 0) but some worlds place you further away:
Also, I'm highly skeptical that you actually need to reinstall the entire .minecraft folder; the launcher will automatically update any file which is corrupted (does not match a checksum and filesize); in fact, a recent launcher update made it extremely difficult to mod the game unless you edit the json file since it just redownloads a fresh jar (even when offline it will delete it and not let you play; if marked read-only to prevent deletion it fails to launch):
Most of the time when this "fixes" issues it is because a file like options.txt (stores video settings and the like) gets reset, which can instead be delted without reinstalling everything.

Thanks for the link! I was wondering if there was an issue with the most recent update that had caused this problem, but I was unable to find anything when I googled it.
Also, is one's original spawning point 0, 0? Because I've been playing my current world since 2011 and have traveled very far away from my original spawning point, which is probably why the coordinates are the way they are.

I greatly appreciate the information! I actually haven't had any other issues with the world, other than those trouble spots, since I originally posted in this thread. I'm currently taking a break from Minecraft to focus on other things, but if I find any more similar issues with my world, then I will definitely take the information you have given me into consideration with trying to fix it.
For the third time my computer has crashed while minecraft was running and upon restart it isn't showing up in the singleplayer saves folder but it's still there in the .minecraft folder.
I can go into the world in mcedit, and my invetory is there, world progress is there, but I don't know where to go from here to get into the world in minecraft rather then just mcedit

P.S.: I like u Castel building. Nice style. ,-)
Do you think I should take out all the mods and just do a dry run to reset them? Along with configs?
If u make an "dry run" Mc will remove all Modblocks from u world. I dont know if it what u want.
No what I'm saying is, not load the world, but the mod pack with no mods, then re add the mods installed and let them install the configs
As long as I don't enter the world nothing will change from within the world
Hello! I have been having some issues with my Minecraft world recently, and I was directed to this thread. [My original thread can be found here.]

Yes the level.dat is corruptet.
If u have an "level.dat_old" or "level.dat_mcr" i can look for the seed but without

Hey again!
Here is a link to a zipped folder containing my save file. Let me know if there's anything else you need from me!
Sorry for late answer. (to mutch RL)
I need more information:
- Coordinate wher u cant set blocks.
- U Minecraft Version. (1.9.X)
P.S.: (First test with check tools show no error on the file system. [take longer then usual but all clear])

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
Thanks for the link! I was wondering if there was an issue with the most recent update that had caused this problem, but I was unable to find anything when I googled it.
