i made a map for some video and i was end and i use /kill to get to the overworld but then my mc crashed and now im unable to load that world its stucks on 100% loading screen can u help me fixing this plz
I run a server(1.19.4 since last month, before it was 1.18.2 for a long time) at home for friends for some months now, yesterday it was offline, and when trying to launch it again I saw the following error:
[02:37:08] [Server thread/ERROR]: Cause of unexpected exception was
java.io.EOFException: Unexpected end of ZLIB input stream
I´m pretty sure Windows just forced reboot to install any update, but this is not something new and there were no problems before.
Anyway, making the 'update server' (new/updated server.jar and recover server/word files) procedure also fails, but I could get it to work again by replacing the level.dat/lock files from a new generated world on my failed world. Of course my inventary was screwed (but not empty, was like when I first created the world (I had 2 maps running on this server that failed, and for now I´m running just 1 map)).
From the Logs (they are included on the file), this map seems to be the problematic one, is it possible to recover? or since it works wih a new Dat file, inventories can´t be recovered?
Also, I have some backups (they are done 3 times a day), but using them (or their Dat files) gives the same error, even from when it was running perfectly.

I'm going to add this for fun factor and curiosity as I do have a perfectly fine functioning variant of the world in question.
My third Console Legacy Xbox 360 World was Corrupted when converting it from CarnagetheCreator's Minecraft Map Converter (This worked fine on a TU 32 world) to Java and then Converting it again to Bedrock via the Andromeda Minecraft Converter. This was done around Update Aquatic. It took part of the Console Legacy Nether as well as Part of the End and Jammed it into the Overworld as well as deleting most of the built structures.
MCC Tool Chest PE at the time (Since it was before 1.16.100 during 1.13) was able to successfully convert the Java Copy of the Console Legacy world to Bedrock with no issue.
Help please I play on bedrock and I have that works fine for a few seconds and then it doesn’t let me do anything aside from walking around. If I break blocks they don’t drop anything and idk what to do. Sometimes it’s just get stuck on the loading screen. I can join other worlds fine it’s just that one in particular. Please help this world means so much to my girlfriend and I. I can send you the save files if you would like.
Also add the latest.log from your logs-folder

Curious to see if anybody knows where Andromeda would've had the hiccup back then XD
Hey, so my brother stumbled upon a problem, minecraft basically doesnt show his map anymore!
So I tried to help him and confirmed that his MC-launcher works just fine so its definetly a worldfile probem =(
World edit 2 cant pait the birdview of the map and shows this particullar error:
"An error occurred while opening C:\Users\MichaelVanPlayz\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves\Me1Hardcore
Not an NBT file with a root TAG_Compound (file starts with " ‹" (0x00088b1f)
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "mcedit2\widgets\layout.py", line 65, in setWidgetError
UnicodeDecodeError: 'ascii' codec can't decode byte 0x8b in position 62: ordinal not in range(128)"
It was a totally normal singleplayer world created on version 1.16.5 without cheats, it was used frequently and just stopped working recently!
Thanks for any kind of help in advance!
Greetings from Austria =)

The level.dat files are broken/incomplete
Create a new world with the same settings (gamemode, gamerules, difficulty etc)
As Seed, use:
-2080689205948831213
Then copy the
level.dat,
level.dat_old and
session.lock
from the new world to the broken one.
Delete the new world again and ingame check for the broken one
Inventory and Position are lost - so you may have to search for the buildings
heres my world if you chads could help retrive it- im not that good with computers- I just wanna play some minecraft!

You have to upload this world with external sites like https://www.mediafire.com/
Put the world into a zip-folder, upload it there and add the given link here
Also give some information about your issue
