Hey guys, in case you have time to reply to general questions, my 1.15.2 world has a load of world chunk errors, some of which appeared after a crash, but there was at least 1 error that I found before the crash too. Am aware you don't offer to fix these, so am I right in thinking these can't be fixed for newer MC versions with standard tools? I've managed before in 1.12 with Region Fixer, but I tried MC Edit 2.0 and it won't even load my 1.15.2 world
I stupidly didn't back up yet as I thought minecraft without mods would be fine, so that's my fault. And I guess I'll start again.
But I'm wondering why there would be chunk errors prior to a crash, just from general gameplay, are some versions more stable than others? I really wanted to try the bees but maybe another v1.15 is more stable? Or maybe I was just unlucky.
Hi! So it seems my survival world has been corrupted. I didn’t have a backup before it corrupted, so that’s great, but here’s the file if anyone can fix it.

Ok with out the world its hard to say what is going wrong on ther.
If u can share the world i can look on the MC-1.12.2 file system its ther somthing wrong.
If u can share the madpack u use i can test what is going wrong.
Any knowledge gratefully received
A good idee will be to give u Minecraft a littel bit more Ram to run. (Not to mutch ore its will turn oud bad. Trust me on this. ,-))
Also as all time try to end as mutch progamms u can to exit bevor run Java programms. (Normaly i only run MC and the Antivirusprogram at the same time. No skyp no Teamspeak and specially NO Browser)
Ok i take a look with MC-Region-Fixer and it shows one corruptet chunk. (I have to delete them.)
Only a short part of u raylsystem in the Nord East. The world is readabel in MC-Edit.I hope its works with u mods.
Ok i try a littel bit more to hopfully fix u world.
The wars 3 wrong locatet chunks. (i delet them)
The are 2 chunk file that getting handelt right. (After open and close it with 2 different files its look like it work again. (The tools are: MC-Edit and MCA Selector)
I remove entetiticks all around 3-4 chunks around u base.
Also i have to crop u world a littel for an faster upload.
We've been working on this for a couple of weeks so far. Today after a unprecedented computer shut down, the world disappeared and not visible anymore.
Version number is 1.15.2;
java jre1.8.0_221;
win 32;
It's running on MultiMC 5 0.6.11-1430 version;
I followed a online solution which is to create a new world with the same name, then copy the level.dat file to the corrupted one. The first time it was working but after that for some reason it stopped working.
Hello everyone. Just had the blue screen of death corrupt the world, can anyone please help since whatever I do makes the chunks all mixed up and breaking my buildings.
First, pleas for the next poste give more Information:
- what Minecraft Version are used.
- what ist the Problem with the world.
Ok i look on the world (level.dat are readebel and new chunks generate right.
On the player position are a littel Village. (i dont know if u sone hase build thomthing ther.)
Its look in MC-Edit like a huge arrier was deleted and regenerated.
Hope this help u. (The world work correctli in MC 1.14.4)
Thanks a lot!
The Village was there earlier but the buildings are deleted. Will try it in MC!
Thanks!

Hi,
I’m playing minecraft on my Mac computer in survival mode.
I built several houses and many other features and collected many items and stored.
then decided to explore and build maps 16x16 and make clear of many areas and new resources.
being far from my main house for almost 7 16x16 and worked and assembled many new items for several days.
then I return back to my home and everything is GONE.
the area of at least 3 diagonal and 3 vertical 16x16 map is back to its original state. Pooof!
areas below that I had some house exist and areas above that I recently explore exist.
Please help me find on Mac my save files or backups or advise what to do to get them back.
thanks
For the next time pleas remember:
- We need to know the MC Version u play.
- We have to know what problem u have with the world.
After a short look at the world i see there some cunks that got corruptet.
I remove them with https://github.com/Querz/mcaselector (thanx to flapcat484)
After that the world works fine in MC 1.15.2
U fixt world.
Ok with out the world its hard to say what is going wrong on ther.
If u can share the world i can look on the MC-1.12.2 file system its ther somthing wrong.
If u can share the madpack u use i can test what is going wrong.
Look hire to finde u MC-Folder: https://www.howtogeek.com/207484/how-to-find-your-minecraft-saved-games-folder/
If u upload an comprest version of u world to an filehoster i can look if i found some errors.

Hi Guys,
I have uploaded the corrupted world zip file here:
ZIP file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1A5tK8oaxMDhmvZTdfr_dcuZOrgI-tM2t/view?usp=sharing
We've been working on this for a couple of weeks so far. Today after a unprecedented computer shut down, the world disappeared and not visible anymore.
Version number is 1.15.2;
java jre1.8.0_221;
win 32;
It's running on MultiMC 5 0.6.11-1430 version;
