Hello, i hope i came in the right forum, if not, then im sorry.
When i played minecraft in my world, this world has been created for 2 or 3 weeks.
Then strange happened.
I saw the floor was half destroyed, even in the corner was likely turned in to a cave (I didn't taked a screenshot.)
This also happened in my previous world, too bad i deleted it and didn't taked a screenshot.
The one i deleted was, i built a house near in the villages, then when i played the world again, the villages were also hald destroyed, no villagers or iron golems wandering around, and i also saw a medium-shaped island in the middle and the water looks strange, the water didn't even leaking even it wasn't blocked by a block. I deleted after i saw that.
Please tell me if it is a bug or something, also sorry for my bad english.
When you say half destroyed, do the houses look normal except half of them are missing? Half the house, not half the village, that is. Turn on chunk boundaries by hitting F3+G at the same time, and see if where the houses are missing are on a chunk boundary. So, if it looks like a single chunk has normal terrain but houses or built structures in it are missing, than that it most likely chunk corruption and the chunk was regenerated and the houses weren't created along with it. If the house is there, but just say a floor is missing or different, then I don't know what could cause that. Next time it happens take some screenshots and post them.
