Out of all the mobs in minecraft, which gives the most xp? My theory is that it could either be an enderman, pigmen, a ghast, a blaze, wither skeleton,or a gaurdian. Out of the mobs that give most xp, which one is farmable? Im trying to decide what massive farm I could make for my world.
Excepting the 'boss mobs' (ender dragon, wither) blaze and guardians give the most XP per mob (10 vs the usual 5).
Which mob is the "most farmable" is somewhat dependant on definition (and may change depending on version and playstyle), however:
high efficiency enderman, guardian, and zombie pigman farms are all able to produce Xp at a rate greater than the player can absorb it (ie pick up the Xp orbs).
Guardian farms require an ocean monument (and the high efficiency versions require removing the water prior to 1.13), but can be built in the Overworld with the additional advantage of producing food (fish) and the materials for lighting (sea lanterns) and building blocks (the prismarine variants) as well as small amounts of ink.
Pigman farms typically require accessing the volume above the nether roof (or VERY extensive landscaping of the nether) to be efficient and changes to how the pigman aggro propigates in 1.13 have made previous designs somewhat problematic… also these are the most resource intensive of the three to build. [Probably, guardian farms being an arguable contender.] They do, however, produce large quantities of gold as well as Xp. [Basing one's build on a 1.13.2 design if playing in a version number above 1.12.2 is highly recommended.]
Ender Enders must be built in the end dimension to be acceptably efficient, but (particularly withthe 1.13 changes to mob spawning) are both small and comparatively simple – the useful 'byproduct' in this case being ender pearls. [Again, using a 1.13 specific design will maximise efficiency.]

WARNING: I have an extemely "grindy" playstyle; YMMV — if this doesn't seem fun to you, mine what you can from it & bin the rest.
I find that a regular large mod darkroom grinder built high up above an ocean is the most useful. Xp per mob is less but the sheer volume of mobs is very high and you get tons of useful drops.

Thank you for the info! If I do make one of those farms it will most likely be the Pigman farm.
