I'm new with this kind of thing, i have 2 modded worlds, one that i want to take overworld information from, (this world has custom Terrain) and i have a world that i would like to replace the overworld from. I have tried using and nbt Editor and swapped around some information in the level.DAT file, and i have tried messing around with the region file, however the best i have achieved was loading a small zone of pre-generated terrain. I would like my world to automatically generate new custom terrain. Is there any way to do this?
additional info - I'm using a mod-pack, Steve's galaxy, and i'm trying to move wasteland terrain from one world to one without the cool terrain

No, this is not possible. If I understand your question correctly you have 2 worlds using the Steve's Galaxy modpack and in one of them you've created some custom terrain in a wasteland and you are hoping to move that terrain into the 2nd world in such a way that it will continuously generate this custom terrain for you? If this is the case then I don't believe you are ever going to be successful. Minecraft is a procedurally generated game meaning that it builds the world as you explore it using set algorithms and the base world seed. You can copy custom terrian from one world to another a number of different ways but when you generate new chunks the game is always going to reference the seed and apply its math regardless of what a player has done with region files that already exist in the game. As far as the game is concerned moving region files from 1 world to another isn't really any different from that region having simply been built on the 2nd world. If you're looking for custom terrain generation then you're going to need to find a configurable mod that allows you to set such things.
