Not sure if you are still looking for an answer, but for one, I just created a new world and I cannot find those files anywhere within the world's save file. How did you get there?
There is a datapacks folder within every world save. If you're looking to add a datapack to one of your worlds I'd look here:
I was trynna develop a datapack, and I noticed a .datapack folder was automatically inside it, and there were lots of stuff inside it:
So many JSON files!
Then I executed the following command in Minecraft to create a scoreboard called "ABC":
But the objectives.json file didn't change.
What does this folder do? I guess it is some kind of cache by the game. If so, should it be gitignore'd? Any help is appreciated.
