thank can i run Minecraft on Pentium 4 HT 3.00GHz? with OS Linux Mint?
Please Tell me in replys! thank you!
Ram 1x 1GB 2x 512MB
PC:- HP Small Factor
Processor:- Pentium 4 HT 3.00GHz
Also a Question can this Processor be like 2 Cores like going to boot menu and adding 2nd Core like the Redundant Core thing i activated in my Core 2 Duo PC! Doubled Cores Minecraft Minimum FPS or Core 2 Duo is 5 - 30 FPS (Pretty Low cuz No GCard and 2GB Ram)
You could possibly play 1.6.4 or older versions, as the requirements back then actually did call for a Pentium 4 as a minimum:
Minecraft system requirements Last Updated: Jul 06, 2013 11:47PM CEST
CPU : Intel P4/NetBurst Architecture or its AMD Equivalent (AMD K7)
RAM : 2GB
GPU : Intel GMA 950 or AMD Equivalent with OpenGL 1.2 Support
HDD : At least 90MB for Game Core and Sound Files
Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 or up is required to be able to run the game.
CPU : Intel Pentium D or AMD Athlon 64 (K8) 2.6 GHz
RAM : 4GB
GPU : GeForce 6xxx or ATI Radeon 9xxx and up with OpenGL 2 Support (Excluding Integrated Chipsets)
HDD : 150MB
Of course, you say that there is no graphics card so this means you only have integrated graphics and the minimum requirement for those is a GMA 950, which did not arrive until the Core 2 Duo days (the Wiki says that the 845 chipset that was common with Pentium 4s supported OpenGL 1.3. Either way, while there are videos of people playing Minecraft on a Pentium 4 with good performance they often have much newer GPUs (you can pick up a used GPU for very cheap); I'd also recommend Optifine and reducing memory to 512 MB, which is more than enough for older versions even at max settings and should leave you with plenty of headroom even with only 1.5 GB since you are using Linux).
