Recently, The official Minecraft feedback page made a post where they show a list of rejected suggestion and the reasons for why Mojang rejected them.
These are only a few of rejected suggestions that I believe are worth discuss.
- Witch huts are currently determined to be fine (no added chests).
- There's scary, then there's just way too dark and scary. We don't need to make the drowned more scary, so they're not going to drown you. Just keep swimming.
- Let's talk about villagers again. They're just traders and that's all they want to do. They don't want to fight, or build, or do anything but live and let live. They're pretty chill.
- Colored water is already possible. "This is already possible in cauldrons, obviously, but when any water is picked up with a bucket it actually becomes a different item called a water bucket."
- Mummies/Pyramids. Mummies are too similar to husks. (F for Tango)
- Drowned Dolphin Jockeys, doubly so if they're holding tridents. Not only is that terrifying, but it's definitely not happening. It was a little "too much".
- With regards to the now-closed food and recipe thread: 1) We would like the community to focus on foods that are not readily available via mods. 2) Please focus your suggestions on crops and/or recipes vs already prepared food (like pizza).
- Features that inhibit natural creativity or can already be done in other ways (example: furniture, vertical slabs)
- Guns (we shouldn’t have to say this, yet here we are) (F for steam66)
- Characteristics for villagers, NPCs and mobs that are also considered out of character for these creatures (example: villagers following you - they have their own things to do!)
What's to discuss? These are all things that Mojang has said "never" to, which means that whether or not they're possible or could eventually become possible with a reasonable amount of effort (not requiring a major rewrite) they're just not going to do them. These are literally dead ideas; while non-suggestions areas of these forums may not be subject to the policies in said area that shut down such threads as well, there's just no point in talking about them because Mojang won't change their minds.

Not true, some of this ideas have a lot of potencial. And besides that, some of their arguments to not include them are really weak.
Just read the villagers' one

Just read the villagers' one
it makes zero sense.
