Is there a way I can download Mcedit for 1.7.10? I tried looking for it on the official website, it gave me a link to it, but the page wasn't found. If someone can find a way to download mcedit 1.7.10, I would appreciate it very much.
MCEdit should work for any version, even versions released after it and mods, since it is a standalone program, not mod, which is completely independent of the game. Only changes to the save format, like in 1.13 and mods like Cubic Chunks, cause major issues. Otherwise, unknown blocks show up as pink cubes and are treated as a default block (e.g. light level is assumed to be 0 and fully opaque so relighting an area with unknown light-emitting/transparent blocks will make remove any light from/through them). Here is a screenshot of a version of MCEdit from 2013 with a world created in 1.12 open; it is so old that it doesn't even have a texture for quartz blocks.
Note also that MCEdit 2 is still a work in progress; MCEdit Unified is greatly preferred.

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
