I have recently learned about MCedit, a way to edit your worlds, without actually being in the world, and directly editing the world folder. I installed the MCedit 2.0.0 beta because it is the only one that works on my imac (the unified version does not work, even after I installed xquartz). I installed MCedit so I could upload a schematic to my world, (specifically a pixel art from spritecraft), and everything went smoothly, or so I thought... when I opened MCedit beta 2.0.0, I couldn't select the exact world I wanted to edit, but MCedit would actually make a sort of exact copy of the world, with no name. then I would edit that copy and when I saved and confirmed the changes, they were no where to be seen in my original world. Here is a screenshot of what I see when I open MCedit (I only have that world, no other worlds, also the world is called memes...) I also included a screenshot of what my "saves" folder looked like in my minecraft folder after I edited the world using MCedit. I am positive I saved every change I had done to the world, but after seeing my saves folder, I thought maybe MCedit was copying the world for some reason... anyway I am super confused.
