Trying to calculate how many options are there for worlds, so I need to do x^y (x = number of possibilties in each block, y = size of the world in blocks), Anyone got a quick way to help me figure out x, I also need to consider containers and stuff in it, redstone signal strength, direction, etc. Decied to ignore entities and there names for now.
You could count the blocks/placeable items on debug mode - it contains every block and every block state IIRC. You can access it by holding shift and cycling through the world type button when creating a new world.
or basically 6.5 with 98000 zeros after it.
This is a huge number, and we will never run out of minecraft blocks in this calculation, but it deosn't quite impress me enough, becuase I could contain suff in containers, and item frames. but it's still pretty large.
