Hey there, i bought minecraft (java) ago 4+ years and i got also fere copy for the win10 version long time ago.
I never touched the win10 version to be honest but i guess the win10 version is exactly like the xbo360 version ? cuz i bought the xbox360 version where it just came out for xbox360 and i played it for 2 days and never touched it anymore (yeah it was fun but it was missing alot and the java version has way more features like the new combat system etc.).
My question is: What do you guys think ? should i switch and stay forever on the win10 version ? or keep playing on my java version where i have my save and big progress ?
Java and the other versions have diverged, so it depends on what you want. Personally I am happy with Java. Despite its occasionally buggy performance, I like how it allows users as much control as they want over their game experience. eg A little or a lot, depending on how much the player wants to learn or do. Having heard some tales of some Xbox players experience with the new update, I am happy to sort out my own backups and rely on my own and community knowledge of the Java game to keep things going.
