I feel guilty for confusing Hypixel with Hytale, but that's nice, and it's similar to my story (watching The Haunting series because Slenderman/Herobrine).
Oh, you guys are growing 'smarter' eh?
In 100+ years will people still be asking this same question?
I know Minecraft is popular now, but in a century from now or longer it is very likely there will be similar but much better and more accessible games by that time, and even if there won't be, problem is developers are mortal like us, so will grow old, retire and die, or die or have to retire sooner if unlucky because of permanent debilitating injury or illness.
Minecraft will be remembered by name by future gamers, but its popularity can't last forever.
Sometimes games fade into obscurity not because they're inherently bad games, but because companies stopped supporting the product. It has happened before and will happen to more games as time goes on.
I think the modding community of the future will keep the game alive though, just as grey area pirates kept abandonware ROM's going.
There will be retro fans by that time keeping old sandboxes going, even if Minecraft does end up being dropped by Microsoft,
which to be frank isn't going to be for a long time.

...what question? I was replying to spammers on the off-chance they were human, to get them to stop by shaming them...
I'm not worried about the game's future, although to be fair I have no idea what abandonware ROMs are.
I first played on a rainy February in 2013 on the Xbox 360!
I would also have made that mistake if I hadn’t been playing Hypixel for a year at that point.

Java got beetroots from PE among other things, gotta owe the PE community for helping keep these ideas alive to bring into other versions.
