Recently tried to play minecraft again after about 1 1/2 years of not using it, only to find my password was changed. This is a really old account, so I do not have any payment info, there is no security question associated with my account, and the E-mail address my account is under was lost due to an unrelated error. I have tried every method I can think of, but without even my security question, everything is off limits. I'm here to see if anybody else has any suggestions, or anyone can help. If it really comes down to it, I might be willing to buy a new account If I can avoid paying the full 35$, since the account was hijacked.
I would like to avoid it, but if it comes down to the wire, I will seek Minecraft from a "third party".
Without the receipt I don't think there is a way to recover the account. I would caution against a 'third party' though because most of those are scams and at best you would end up with an account stolen from someone else. Think about what you are going through to recover your old account -- do you really want to have a hand in someone else going through the same thing?
Minecraft isn't that expensive comparatively speaking. Even if you have to save up for it, you are better off buying a new account from the official source. And make sure to protect that account.

Unfortunately, we cannot help you any more that Mojang Support, which you MUST contact to get anything done about your account.

As for your lack of any account info, the security measure are there for a reason, so people do not steal accounts without knowing anything about them. You need to find your transaction ID somehow.
You might be able to find prepaid Minecraft cards that are at a discounted price, but anything illegal and or something that violates the Minecraft EULA is not allowed here.

Even worse, the owner of the account you bought contacts Mojang with the account's correct info (ie, transaction id) and has it ripped from your grasp. Now you've got to go through the whole process all over again, and if you did have the proper credentials Mojang will probably recognize that the account's not yours.

Pirated game is illegal by the US Law, you could get Minecraft gift card fir discounted like other people said ( I got it for like 20 instead of 26.95).

I wasn't talking about stealing someone else's account
