If you want to change it, you're usually part of a server, and once you name change it's pretty hard for people to recognize you, so I'd imagine most people sticking with their original names or at least similar variants of it.
I think I've changed my name once since the older username I used to use for everything was also my Minecraft name, and it's basically retired now.
Have yet to change my name. Probably never will. I am absolutely terrible at coming up with new usernames anyways. I'll just keep the same name I've had since beta 1.8.

Curse PremiumI've never changed my username, despite how annoying it is.
I changed the name of my main account to DeviantCrafter. My AFK slave's account is Dormentality and I plan to change it when I decide on a new name.
I'll probably never change the name beyond then, so one name change each.

I've only changed my name once, right when the name changes came out, since my current name is much more fitting (my old one was from another game).
Also, I have never changed my skin, which is probably something that people change a lot more often.
