I set up 4 dispeners with a sticky piston to push a redstone block into the center of them to dispense water. 1 of the dispensers is not fully covering the same area with water that the other dispensers are covering. Why is that?
I'm pretty sure that dispenser isn't dispensing any water at all!
The water in front of it has flowed there from the other dispensers, water flows 8 blocks counting the source block, the edge in front of the faulty dispenser is 8 blocks from the left and right dispensers in picture 4 but only 4 blocks from the front dispenser.
So make sure that that dispenser is properly loaded with a water bucket and remove the buckets from the other dispensers so you can see what is happening with that one.

I figured that extending the edge of the platform effected the water flow. Odd. If there were dips, holes, or edges that were closer than other edges, it seemed to change the path of the water. I've got it figured out now.

Just testing.
You were right...I somehow missed putting a bucket in that dispenser.
However, after correcting that issue, I still had a single dispenser that is not dispersing water evenly.

I removed the dispenser and tried just a plain bucket of water. Same problem:(
That is odd!
It's like there were some invisible blocks blocking the flow?!?
I'd try removing and replacing the 3 blocks where the water isn't flowing even though it should and see if that does any good.

There's something fishy by that wall on both sides of the dispenser as well, the water should be flowing around the ends of the wall!
What version are you running? Any mods?
Just testing.
I think I've figured it out!
The edge of your platform is too close, Minecraft water senses drops and flows towards them even if they are just out of reach.
Unless that grey stuff is a cloud I'd say that the water was flowing towards the notch in the edge of the platform.

I guess it is a cloud?
I think it's the notch in the left edge in picture http://www.jasonwhitener.com/dispenser5.p that does it.
I managed to reproduce the problem and it's definitely the left edge that's too close.
Just testing.
What exactly are you trying to do?
If you make the platform the exact shape of the water so that the water flows all the way to the edge everywhere it seems to work.
If you put a wall around it the water should fill out the area it's supposed to.
Or making the platform at least 2 blocks bigger than the water area seems to work.
The edge can be closer than 2 blocks in some places but it takes a bit of testing and/or analysing to get it right
Just testing.
