Your better of getting a vps package from a host somewhere. The server can be hosted on one of them and then they can use your domain with your dns and rdns it.
Many hostings can do this i would recommend UnitedMChosting.com they can do both for you or you could but it from one.com, godaddy.com google some there not that hard to find.
The problem is that my server is already hosted on OMGServ.com so do I have to change, or can I do it without hosting my server on UnitedMChosting.com ?
You can do it just talk to someone on live chat and they can get you set up! May i asking how many servers you are running on your vps and which plan you have?
Hi everyone !
I made a server (hosted on a VPS) and the IP is something like that: (91.XXX.X.XXX) but I want to change the IP to this: 'servername.net'
I know that I need a Host Name but I don't know how to get it and how to configure it :/
So if anyone knows how to do it please answer this thread
You need to RDNS it on the domain controller. If its hosted by a company they will do it for you.
I could set this up for you if needed! Take in mind that to get this you need to buy a domain.
Ok, but where can I buy a domain ? And how can I configure it for my server ?
