so I was looking into laptops for minecraft with a budget of 500 to 600 dollars I was looking at the specs and didn't know if they were ok for modded minecraft. I'm no tech wizard so I need some help. Here are the specs including some other stuff :
cer Aspire E5-575G-53VG comes with these high level specs: 6th Generation Intel Core i5-6200U Processor 2.3GHz with Turbo Boost Technology up to 2.8GHz, Windows 10 Home, 15.6" Full HD Widescreen LED-backlit Display, NVIDIA GeForce 940MX with 2GB of dedicated DDR5 VRAM, 8GB DDR4 Memory, 256GB SSD, 8X DVD-Super Multi Double-Layer Drive (M-DISC enabled), Secure Digital (SD) card reader, Acer True Harmony High-Performance Sound System, 802.11ac Wi-Fi featuring MU-MIMO technology, Bluetooth 4.1, Gigabit Ethernet, HD Webcam (1280 x 720) supporting High Dynamic Range (HDR), 1 - USB 3.1 (Type C) port, 2 - USB 3.0 ports (1 with power-off charging), 1 - USB 2.0 Port, 1 - HDMI Port, 6-cell Li-ion Battery (2800 mAh), Up to 12-hours Battery Life, 5.27 lbs. | 2.39 kg (system unit only) (NX.GHGAA.001)
Basically, what you want to look for is a good CPU and GPU (and at least 8gb of ram)
For the CPU, make sure it has at least 4 cores (i7's do), and the higher the GHz, the better. The CPU in that laptop is quite good, and shouldn't pose problems.
The GPU will be alright for MC (it's really not a graphically intensive game), but more advanced models (some Galacticraft stuff, for example) may stress it. And I'm pretty certain it won't run shaders, at least not very well.

This should be just fine to run most if not all mod packs, in my unprofessional opinion.

It probably won't run modpacks well.

Obviously you'd need quad 1080s to have a chance of running at 30 fps.
^Troll
And 4 1080's in a laptop would run at approximately 0FPS, because the laptop would melt into a puddle 4 seconds after hitting the power button.
