So, I had this survival world in minecraft. I had good progress on it, and i was ready to build a slime farm, so I put my world save folder into chunkbase.com to find slime chunks. Later that day, I loaded up minecraft, and all my worlds were gone! I looked in my saves folder, and they were all there. I tried pulling out the folders and putting back in, but nothing happened, even after I loaded up minecraft again. Does anyone know what happened or how to fix it? I had good progress and a good seed, and I really don't feel like starting from scratch again.
Ok, I solved it. Apparently, I had created a short-cut to my minecraft folder to my desktop, because I can't access my libraries folder to get to application support, for whatever reason. By doing that, I somehow moved the saves and resource packs folders from the original folder to the one on my desktop. I opened up the resource packs folder from minecraft and pressed the "enclosing folder" button at the top. My saves folder there was empty. I just dragged the world back into it, and problem solved!

I was quite scared for a while. Glad I solved it.
