So a few days ago I changed my Minecraft username, then I tried to upload my custom made skin to Minecraft and it said it worked….but now whenever I try to play on servers it just says "Not authenticated with Minecraft.net" Before I changed my username the process I used to get a skin worked fine, (i used the same process after i changed my username) so I suspect that somehow me changing my username messed something up on Minecraft.net: If anyone has any ideas how I might be able to solve this, please let me know. Right now my only option is to just wait a whole month until i can change my username again, then switch back to my old username to see if that fixes it….
Googling around got me to this thread on the mineplex forums:http://www.mineplex.com/forums/m/11929946/viewthread/19228326-authenticated-minecraftnet-name-change-problem
Somebody there also had the same problem and it looks like the solution is to log out of the minecraft account and then sign in again.
EDIT: Also notice the difference between the mineplex forum thread title vs. yours? If somebody else had that problem and they googled it, they wouldn't find the solution from your thread because your title is not descriptive enough (may be possible with the text inside the thread, but still). Also some players may not even click the thread because the title is so vague. Use better, descriptive titles when making a forum post.

If I make the title more descriptive then the person reading it will know what the problem is and may choose to ignore the post , but since the title is so vague it makes people more likely to read the thread because they want to know what the problem is….its basically click bait so that people are more likely to read the thread and therefore more likely to help me.
Thanks for the help BTW…I appreciate it
That's sorta unethical and selfish. You're basically saying that you want to get help faster even if it means other people with a similar problem might not get the answer. Besides, if a person wanted to help and answer questions on the forums, they would be going to each thread regardless of how the title was phrased. Either way, your choice I guess. It's not a rule or anything so you can't get in trouble for it.
