Fancy looks real nice but my FPS drops to 50-55 (Usually 60) from turning it on. Fast isn't as nice but its real simple and I get smooth FPS. But from y'all's opinion, is minor lag worth putting it on fancy? Thanks

I prefer fast. It's just another little thing to make Minecraft run smoother, and I don't like the biome grass sides, transparent leaves, item shadows, vignette, and 3D clouds, anyway.

Insulting people for their beliefs is not a good way of convincing them to adopt yours.
Fiction is just a game of make-believe recorded on paper or film. But that's what makes it so great.
If you just want a better-looking minecraft world and stuff, use Fancy, the only issue is, you need a decent and fast computer if you don't want lag; then in Fast, everything is good and probably lag-free but the animations just don't look good as much as Fancy. Hopefully this helped you out

Fancy is worth upgrading your computer for. But fancy is not worth lag.
i choose fancy, really once you choose fancy its really hard to go back to fast, well, for me it is.

Hipster Jesus liked you before you were cool.
I use fancy because my computer can handle it. Plus, leaves can be seen through, which can be useful at times.
You can just call me Canary.
How not to look like a total fool in the forum games
Fast any day. Even on a high end computer I want to push my fps to the limit.
I like to do some pretty intensive builds.
I usually use fancy. I cut down a lot of trees, and it helps being able to see where the logs are in the big trees. I hate floating leaves.
Also, 3D item drops are nice.

Me too, I hate floating leaves xD
Fancy all the way. Can't stand Fast, it just doesn't feel right to have NON see-through leaves.
I prefer fast because you can easily see the differences in light levels.
