I have decided to summarise the discussion of Evasitism into this:
Evasitism is a force that pushes objects away from each other.
Evasitism only works along the x and z axes. It serves to push objects with high pondity out of other entities and blocks. It is NOT the reason things cannot enter a block.
Sufflamism works in all directions, but only functions well when it is not near one of the "beams" (we really need a better name for that) that cause the grid, meaning that the force only works at the surface of blocks.
Once inside the block, evasitism takes over.
Sufflamism is much more powerful than either ponditism or evasitism, as demonstrated by the fact that evasitism cannot push you from one block into another, because sufflamism prevents it.
Solid blocks and mobs have eviction, small plants, decoration and items have no eviction.
Evasity: How strong the eviction is.
Evasitism resistance: How much an object will stay in place when evicted.
Evasitism eye radius: Objects in the eye aren't evicted.
Players and items are pushed out of blocks, and mobs push each other.
You do get pushed out of solid blocks when you are stuck, but you can't enter other blocks. For instance if a 1 block wide pillar of sand falls on you, you take a bit of damage and are pushed to the side.
If you place a block where an item is, rather than refusing to place, it will place, and the item is inside the block.
Items can only be evicted up, not down. That almost leads me to believe something else is going on with items not necessarily related to this.
It appears that for some reason, items, once actually inside a block, aren't affected by Sufflamism.
Sand and gravel are solid, at least when placed, falling sand/gravel is a bit odd, being able to pass through a torch, for instance, but dropping as an item if landing on the torch.
Transparent blocks don't evict players inside. Mobs have a small area in the centre where other mobs aren't pushed.
An added observation, if your exit is blocked by a transparent block then you are pushed up against that block, if there are two transparent blocks on adjacent sides you are pushed into that corner, I haven't determined what decides which way you are pushed if the transparent blocks are on opposite sides. Adding non transparent blocks on the sides with the transparent blocks restores your free movement inside your block.
Though I note that with your head in a block, even though it appears you can see the inside of the block the view doesn't change when you move.
Also, as you may have indicated, one isn't ejected upwards though one can exit a block by jumping if it's at leg level, nor is one ejected downwards, though one would fall out if unsupported and not flying.
There is still some form of cancellation of forces if your exit is blocked by non transparent blocks.
With transparent blocks in all directions I find I am forced E and either N or S depending on which is closest.
With a nontransparent block to the E I am forced SW.
With nontransparent blocks E and W I'm forced S and free to move E/W.
With nontransparent blocks N and S I'm forced E and free to move N/S.
With a nontransparent block S I'm forced NE, but if I'm at the extreme S edge I'm forced E but can stay S as long as I don't move N, the slightest movement to the N forces me N.
With a nontransparent block W I'm forced NE, an oddity is that if I start in the middle of the W edge I'm moved first S then E then N.
With a nontransparent block N I'm forced SE, but if I start on the N edge I can stay in the NE corner until I make any movement S
Could evasitism possibly explain things that cause acceleration like powered rails?
I'm not at all sure that you are ever inside the falling sand?
Don't you get pushed aside by being hit by it just like being hit by a solid object in RL?
Why does sand's evasity reduce when falling (applies to gravel as well)?
Sufflamism really can't explain why items can actually move from one block to another. Perhaps Evasitism just affects items a LOT more than other entities, so that it can overcome Sufflamism?
Sufflamism really can't explain the upward movement of items. The reason that items move up may have something to do with the upward acceleration hypothesis (When an item is created, it suddenly starts moving upward, then falls back down). Maybe when inside of other blocks, an item can use them as a conduit of sorts to transfer the acceleration from the vertical "beams" to itself, causing it to accelerate upward faster than everything else. I don't know why they don't do this when outside of blocks, but that's the best I've got.
What about slabs, stairs and other irregular blocks?
It is essentially a copy and paste of all evasitism related posts since my original one, but duplicate material has been removed, and material which has either been proved wrong, or replaced with other hypotheses (sufflamism) has also been removed. It may not be perfectly done though, so some bits still poke through. It also includes sufflamism. I mostly made this as an aid for myself to keep track of the discussion.
Another weird block I found: Cobwebs. They don't keep you out, so sufflamism doesn't apply, but they slow your descent. It can't be evasitism with the revisions, or without, as the descent is slowed even if you are more than halfway through.
About the grid: It seems that all blocks have one face on the grid, so the grid applies even with one face.
Also, to make this clear: When something is "pushed" with evasitism, the verb evict is used, to distinguish it from other kinds of pushing.
WOW! Some people have really got a lot of time on there hands if they want to make up Minecraft laws of physics! Still, im thouroughly impress with that list, and its changed the way i think about minecraft.
i was wondering how dinnerbone moves. he and grumm are in a permanent headstand yet they can still move by walking.
a few tests showed that players can start moving in a different direction in mid air. for some reason this appears not to apple to mobs.
so i came up with this. gases in minecraft have less kinetic energy than IRL, yet more than minecraft liquids. therefore air cannot support us and stop us from falling, but we can walk through it.
evidence
dinnerbone walks. we can walk if we start moving in air
you can't see air in minecraft so it must be a gas, not a liquid.
you fall. therefor it doesn't support you to stop you falling
things which go against evidence
no one has tested this in real life
since everything to do with dinner bone is flipped, wouldn't he just fall up?

I think that we both agree on what's happening, but we disagree on the definitions of words. I think it'd be better if such a thing were dropped, since ultimately arguing over words is... lame.
Also, darn cocoa beans messing up our ability to easily understand partial blocks...
The Nether is 60,000,000 blocks wide and only 128 blocks high (the lava filled bit that is.)
So how could we be seeing it as square if viewed from the side?
I have multiple possible explanations, but none that make any logical sense given what we can observe. Any other tilting or rotating of the nether would be noticed in its "gravity," a spinning Nether would be a circle, and anything involving ponditism makes no sense since ponditism does not work that way.

Maybe we're looking at the side of it, and the Nether slowly rotates so that the side of it always points at us.
Are you referring to the discussion of energy? If so I agree, its not really relevant, so lets just drop it.
Something that I have noticed is that the generator sometimes creates floating sand, that when a block next to them changes, starts falling.
... I think you just proved Relation Exists... Block updates of course! They must be caused by relation. When Relation creates the world, It sometimes creates floating sand and gravel... *cough*... This must somehow affect ponditism too... But when you update one block you make Relation and everything falls and boom and ponditism and bonding and squares and blockules and blocktoms and tritons and nether suns and end moons and idontevenknowwhatiamtalkingaboutanymore evatism freakin waffle ahahhahahah.
I think I had a mental breakdown... I'm just using complicated words I don't understand.
But yeah... Back to the topic. Pondity doesn't seem to affect these floating blocks, and somehow accepts them as objects with low pondity, and doesn't let them fall... So maybe Relation is somehow connected to ponditism? Relation tend to make stuff look simmilar or sumthin. So maybe When a block is broken, a small force of Relation is created, wich interacts with the block's ponditism and makes it fall... But for the Relation to be created... Bonding energy?
EDIT: Wow we are on the 8th page already? Geez this went up quick...
P.S: I really hope plyb or "You" (if Plyb is reading this) is working on bonding energy, to put on the thread. Also evatism and saff-something. I am getting confuzzled.
NEW THING! (Minecraft forums merge posts together wut.)
What happens with FENCES? It goes up to a meter in height, but you can't jump over it... And if you walk over it you seem to be floating, like if you were on an invisible slab. This breaks everything we've been Discussing... Evatism? Pshhh I prefer FLOATING over the block. Or Is it now the other thing that I think starts with "S" And I can't remember the name... Saffle something... Sufflamism Eh, But I still float over the object... How does that work? Fences are made out of WOOD, We can't Float half a meter into the air over wood, so even though fences are made out of wood it changes nothing... And this can't be caused by the shape either, because trap doors, doors, and other blocks have different shapes but they work fine. The same phenomenomnomnomnomnomnomnomnomnomnom happens with walls... (I mean the block "Wall" or cobblestone wall...)
So this is very mysterious...
So many questions... How do Beds work? How do we respawn? Why does the player burn in fire? How does the player jump a full meter without bending his knees or doing anything else? Who are villagers? Why do mobs not generate with the world? Why do hostile mobs only appear at night? How do enderpearls work? What are ender crystals? How the heck do they heal the enderdragon? What is the ponditism grid made out of? If minecraft is infinitely tall, how are the Sun and moon over minecraftia? Why does the Void kill you but not the sky? How the HECK do we get to the nether/end? How was Minecraftia formed? How do Ghasts fly? Why are zombie pigman in the nether but not on the overworld? What are SERVERS? How do you resourcepack? How does heat work? Why can't you ride pigs without a saddle? Where do the Horses' things-you-put-in-their-mouths-to-control-them-idkthename come from?
We are so far away from what we are trying to reach... We are working out how Minecraftia's Physics work, but we still haven't touched the common Science of mobs!
Wow I really went off-topic...
EDIT: Why didn't the forums merge my posts this time... Did I get confused in something... Imma just leave it.

I will try to get Evasitism and Sufflamism in the OP asap, but I'm having trouble keeping up with this and, you know, that thing called real life.
I'm going to have to change my view on a couple of things here. First of all, while I think the Nether Sun Hypothesis is great and all, there just isn't enough evidence to back it up, and its hard to explain why the sun glows or where the outer end islands are using it. Second, I don't think "Blockules" are actually 3d. I think it would make the most sense to have 2d pixels at the surface, as there is really no evidence for inner blockules. Or perhaps some things do and some things don't? maybe the definition of a "transparent" block is that it's hollow, so therefor won't suffocate you.
The Nether is 60,000,000 blocks wide and only 128 blocks high (the lava filled bit that is.)

I am not sure at all about this... But... A block in the nether is 8 blocks in the overworld (making the Nether kind of like a hyperspace travel thing) So if my memory doesn't fail me or if my logic is right... The Nether should be an eight... eighth... 8th... 1/8 the size of Minecraftia (in width not height). This is my guess as, supposing Minecraftia is 60,000,000 blocks wide... Then the nether should be precisely 7,500,000 blocks wide... If it was bigger than this, Creating a portal over the 7,500,000 limit would create the portal outside the world... (We all know it can't)
But the portal can simply create itself on the edge of the world.
Eh. I didn't want to use the forbbidden... Forbidden... Forbbiden...damnenglish THE WIKI yeah... The wiki... Imma simply test it geez.
I have teleported to 29999999 ~ 29999999 (because it for some reason didn't let me do 30000000) And I saw the world border... And crashed. wut
I managed to do this right and went to the edge of the world, and when I created a portal back to the Overworld, as suspected, It got me to the world border. Weird still...

Regardless of the exact size though, it still wouldn't look like a square if we were facing it side on.
Possibly consider changing the name of Blockology to Laterculology from Latericulus/Latericuli being a small brick or tile; a parcel of land. Ology being the study of, it would make a bit more sense seeing as block has too many definitions meaning very different things

My Scroll.
You're a good man.
Been playing Minecraft for too long.
