I thought it would be fun to make a thread about weird glitches in minecraft where the world generator messes up and does freaky things, so il post some pics of the weird things i find in my MC world and you do the same, but it must happen NATURALLY, you cant alter it
take this one for example, its a village path that spawned at the bottom of a perfectly square hole, whats even weirder is it already has torches and a cobblestone wall on it, how did this happen? well i did build a cobblestone wall and put some torches around a village not too far away and it seems to have copied that!....except ......u kno.....in a hole

here is another interesting oddity from the same world, a gravel ceiling!
The pictures your posting are not interesting world gen mechanics, just bugs. As everyone already explained, the first picture is of a corrupted chunk, and the one you just put up is just a case of the gravel not having been updated when the world was generated. It's pretty common actually. You can see it all the time with sand in a hilly desert area. Just place a block next to it and it will fall.
People don't seem to understand this thread... It's supposed to be weird glitches. Don't just complain about the glitches and say what happened... The thread is supposed to be for posting cool glitches you find.
Get grass blocks, tall plants, and lots and LOTS of sand
Place the grass blocks and tall plants wherever you can
Build a sand dragon on the plants
Remove the plants and the grass
Place a block on it

It's an error. Using the same seed wont result in the same thing happening to you.

not everybody can be smart just ignore them =p
here we see two interesting elements in one, not only do we find floating gravel, not that rare on its own BUT an open wall of water!
