Also on most servers they have an anti cheat Hypixels is awesome but Mineplexs is HORRIBLE it just kicks lagging players

The problem is that everyone hacks on these big servers. You just notice the particularly mean ones. If you ever see any 3 or 4 person factions, ones that never try to communicate, it's usually because they are all hacking. They usually don't bother anyone else though, so you probably wouldn't notice. The truth is that hacked clients are literally the easiest thing ever to install, and that people who use them aren't always out to kill, and are more in it for the xray, freecam, and all that crap that can be used to a defensive advantage.
I feel like the real chodes are the guys who run the big servers, who are usually so overrun with things to do that they just stop moderating and start screwing people left and right. Often staff hack as well for that added bonus, I know from experience
That's a great idea except most servers will probably worry that by adding that they will use players who use lesser known mods or custom made ones
Well some servers already ask for/accept recommendations for mods that people like to use, and if the server staff allow it then people are allowed to get caught with them and not be punished. The whitelist would do a similar thing, but instead of it being a situation where unacceptable hacks/mods roam free until caught and punished, they're not allowed at all.
Also the whitelist should be able to be completely removed if necessary (or disabled by default) so servers that are too lazy to even bother won't be hindering anyone (including hackers) or servers could just allow all hacks/mods if they want to.

I don't know how many times it has to explained why "checking for mods before you enter the server" is NOT going to work. It would not stop cheaters from getting in and it would barely be an inconvenience, let alone make it impossible. Hacked clients will always find a way to code around them. Modding is very difficult to get rid of, even when companies try their hardest to get rid of it, they almost always fail. You can't lock out hackers by coding in defense mechanisms to keep them out. If it's possible at all, it would be very difficult and it would take a lot of time and resources.
When the server checks for non-vanilla files, all the hacked client has to do is send a response back to the server saying "Yep, no non-vanilla files here!" and they get into the server. That's it.

Let me know if my posts are helpful or if you like them. That's what I'm here for.
I am currently lurking more than I am posting. I haven't gone anywhere.
Too bad there is no other way of stopping these no lives. All we can do is report (if available), take screenshots and/or record, talk to the staff of the said server and hope they get banned.
Honestly, I rarely see them. I do see 'hackusations', however. I have never once installed a hacked client, or done the job myself. I have been accused of hacking countless times, though. Every session I play on popular servers like Mineplex and Hypixel, I am screamed at that I have no skill because I'm just a dirty little hacker. Among other things.
Not to point fingers, but it does seem that this is mostly a result of the Minecraft playerbase's average age becoming much younger. Now this isn't always the case when it comes to raging. I know a few people well into their teenage years that call hacks most times they lose.
Another reason it may appear that there are more hackers is that the old PvP system (along with the new one) is very finicky. Whoever the server favors will get a rapid succession of hits, with the victim unable to end it, sometimes not even allowing them to hit the other.
But I do agree that the amount is higher than it was say, three years ago.

I have been accused a lot too. I feel ur pain bro...
That's why I only play on smaller servers where communities are tighter. I'm also starting to see accusations like this on other multiplayer games as well like the MOBA Smite. It's not going to stop any time soon so a message to anyone who finds themselves accused of something they didn't do: keep a level head and don't feed the troll. It's also likely the finger-pointer wants to stir some beef with you so either mute or report them if it starts getting out of hand.

I scored 91% on the Minecraft Trivia Quiz. How much do you know about Minecraft?
Maybe instead of a blacklist for modifications, it should be a whitelist instead.
What I mean by this is you can only join a server if your hacks/mods are accepted by the server, instead of preventing you if they aren't accepted.
That way no matter how many new hacks/mods people create, if they aren't on the list, people can't join.

For reason B. I meant that if uh ad other files. You couldn't join a server that has a mod option disabled
I do cause. Hackers ruin ones experience in a game. It makes things unfair. There will be no fun in multiplayer
Shouldn't u worry about the lesser known mods. Those may be the force op and ect mods. If they exist...

So basically minecraft is doomed to hacker extinction then... Cause it is extremely easy to use hacks.

What's sad is that the smaller communities r getting all their players stolen by big servers
Not all of the players from small servers are getting stolen...you just have to find the right server which is not an easy task.
True... But can't mojang make more patches in there code or whatever.
