Hey guys, just me here with another topic. Dicuss this. The title is self-explanatory.
I started out in Minecraft PC First. I started in March 2010. I played the free web-based creative mode, and it unfortunately it got boring fast. But I soon discovered the downloadable Survival client, so I tried that. It was fun exploring around and finding cool formations. But I soon discovered that there was a day/night cycle, so I soon was attacked by Zombie punches vividly outlined in front of my face, arrows from skeletons, all leading up to the dreaded boom of the Creeper.
I then, in November 2011 became very active within the game, and played almost every weekend.
I then had a fallout in Minecraft between February 2012 to December 2012. In January 2013, I strted playing again, and haven't had a fallout since.
I found minecraft when I was just a kid, back in the 1990s. However, it was called "Tony hawk pro skater 2" back then, so over time they changed the image so that it would appeal to little kids more. Anyways, back when I started playing it, there was nothing, not even creative mode. Or blocks. Or a game. It was actually just a black screen that you stared at. God, I missed those days. You minecraft kids these days have it too easy, you have no idea how hard it was back in the day just to sit there. Now adays with your "dirt" and "wood" that you can entertain yourselves with, you can't even appreciate the true, artistic ingenuity of the Mincraft pre-alpha version .3 (aka tony hawke pro scater 2)
I started playing minecraft on 2012 when i first play the game i was frustrated but at the same time happy. When it turn dark i was jumpscared by zombies later found out theres a minecraft version of 1.5.2 i was amazed of the new blocks and later learned redstone mechanic.
I then become good at minecraft i can't stop thinking about minecraft everynight. Think what am i going to build next or how many silverfish can i put in a pond i later found out i can go to a server play minigames. It made me happier than before.
I later stop playing minecraft for 4 months after that i began playing minecraft and haven't quit seens then
I started from 1.2.5... those were the day of emptiness... i remember the days when they added enderman... or pumpkins... adding comparators... redstone has advanced by alot since then...

Started at around version 1.4 something, when they added fireworks and stuff.
It was so fun back then. Started multiplayer at around ver 1.5
1.7.4 smth ruined survival for me. Maybe coz the reduced enemy spawn/difficulty. So I just played on a server with friends making factions and creative mode. Not long after that made my own small server but got bored fast after 2 months.
Now I'm back because the 1.8 update looks interesting. But still not as tense and fun as my 1.5-1.7.2 years :(.
Started around 5 years ago probably late alpha it was fun to see minecraft grow to what it is now with the casual breaks of it though i eventually discovered let me call it "mass modding" to make the game funner after it got boring. but now vanilla is fun again.
I actually discovered the game by using the PE version. At that time I was lost on what to do in the game so I searched for some gameplay/tutorials I could follow that could get me going somewhere. Then I saw players like EthosLab and SkyDoesMinecraft that led me thinking that I should get the PC version of Minecraft. And I did. I got it in early 1.4 and had a fallout during 1.6. I think it was because the game was rapidly changing fast as well as the community and I couldn't get used to the newer features so I stopped.
I came back to 1.7 because that's when my friends bought the game and suggested to me to get it. I already had it so I jumped right on with them and never had a fallout since.
Aw mate I started around early April 2011. The version was Beta 1.4_01.
At age 13 (I'm 18-ish now), I found out about the game after watching the Yogscast play the Redmurk Mystery custom map in late March 2011. I immediately downloaded the game and got my father to buy it so I could get a skin and play multiplayer.
Let's see, almost 5 years ago I would've been 34. I started playing in late September 2010 (26th September, 2010 to be specific), around Alpha v1.1.2_01 or thereabouts, or at least that's when i took my first screen shot. A friend of my who I've known for many years introduced me too it and I loved the openess of it straight away. When I got home (I was at his house), I bought the game immediately as it was extremely low cost. I forgot everything though, even that to craft better things you needed a crafting bench.
The earliest world was on top of a mountain and it was a basic wood hut, I got tired of going up and down the mountain for resources though so I built stairs. Not on the outside of the mountain though, I dug into the mountain. it got so long I nicknamed it the "Stairway... to HELL". I remember coming out the side of the mountain though and trying to figure out what to do, I think I just double backed into the mountain. I lost/deleted - who knows what happened to that world. Caves were ultra dark and scary none of this brightness slider malarkey and even just finding iron was paramount to finding diamonds. You could get lost easily as I did (Even on my main world from back then that is still my main world today) and compasses were still not a cast iron guarantee of getting home.

Must be. I don't exactly remember when I started or what version it was, but it was definitely around the time that beds became a thing.
No longer did we have to just sit in darkness on the first night praying that day would grace us again.
