i mean in alpha there was awesome sounds land gen and textures it was when mineing diamonds was special and when there was no worry of hackers on a server i really do miss these days I mean really jeb really what did you do ):
By Jeb I assume you mean Notch, as he steered it all the way to full release, including the addition of biomes.
Also, everyone has access to alpha versions, that is the beauty of the new launcher.

Use the tab to go to alpha. It works. Also, even though alpha was great it had not very much, no mods little content not too good textures etc. I think you are thinking of beta. But then again the past is the past, memories will stay.

oh man i missed the jacked up water system of alpha. where the water never spread so i could make underwater houses with ease oh boy. that was too long ago.
