Simply post as if this was a documentary on how Minecraft works in real life. I'll start: Grass: A green, parasitic plant that spreads among dirt when provided light. It appears to get all of its nutrients from the dirt it's on. It will compete with mycellium to spread to any dirt nearby. It has several different colors, depending on temperature and humidity. When bone meal is applied to it, parasitic plants grow from the Grass, like flowers and grass.
Mycellium: A gray-pink fungi that spreads among dirt in a similar fashion to Grass. It constantly emits a cloud of spores, possibly used to spread to other areas. It only occurs naturally on islands in the middle of the ocean, where Giant Mushrooms and Mooshrooms survive and thrive.
