I'm thinking of starting an adventure map, but I don't have any ideas other than that I want it to be in a medieval setting. any suggestions would be nice, even if you think it will be stupid it could help me.
Thank you
OK, thank you guys for helping. I've taken into consideration what you guys have said and have started a map.
there is a lot of things I'm thinking of changing, such as the tiny staircase, bland watchtower, and the tiny time machine. I'll probably add a bigger, better looking staircase with some kind of parkour in it, a much better looking time machine, and decorate the the watchtower. I'll also change the big glass cube to a hill surrounding the watchtowers that is 2/3 blocks tall
well take a look at Herobrines mansion its a good mediaval map and you might like it couse it has boss fights and its a good inspereison so thats my suggestion
I don't know, but i'm thinking something (you probably don't know it and i suppose it's not medieval) But the Hunchback of Notre Dame seems like a good map, if you watch the movie of course and you can add the paths of how they get there, so you can have a bit of an imagine of what you want to c:

I would suggest starting by making a story first. Who is main character? What is his or her goal? What drives them? What will the map look like? What purpose does each location serve? There is an excellent guide on here somewhere for those starting an adventure map for the first time. I to am have started my first adventure map and out of sheer luck (via logic) I followed said guide without even knowing it. I am going to look for it and post a link if you don't mind.
Thank you
