On my Survival Server and Singleplayer worlds i have hit a slight bump and run out of things to work on, starting anew isn't an option just yet.
I'm wondering, what does the minecraft community do to stay interested when they hit a bump?

When I hit a bump in minecraft I spend time playing maps, and/or battle on various mini-games on public servers, such as Survival Games, Bridges, One In The Quiver, Turf Wars etc. I also start playing more LAN with friends, and I also have competitions with them, such as building contests, or a survival world together with no truce. With no truce, we can steal each other stuff and destroy each others bases.
I just play a modpack because it is really hard to run out of things to do in a modpack. Right now im doing FTB Direwolf20 pack. Been on it for a month....very fun!
I like making redstone creations and adventure maps. Once I'm starting a new project then finish it after a long time, I can feel proud about myself

Build a farm of some sort, and or make bigger more useful farms. Find as many mob spawners as you can build a grinder that you have not made before. ummm, Have someone join your server and turn off auto save so if they do something and blow stuff up it doesn't save. Just goof off with a friend or complete stranger. Make eras of time in villages, so one village is medieval, one is modern, one is futuristic. Do something random that you would not normally do.
I build stuff that takes a long time to finish. If I get bored, I just put Netflix on in the background. Once in a while I'll switch it up and tinker with redstone to come up with new and interesting stuff.

Mess around, build modpacks (latest one), and destroy things.

Roughly 95% of Minecraft players hate Villagers and would be very happy if they were removed. If you are one of the 5% who actually like villagers, copy this into your signature and hope it never happens. ~EnderDude124

note: Then I mention a group of people in my posts, i mean the majority of information i have seen from that group, and my statement may not be accurate for every individual in that group.
