As the title says, what is the weirdest thing you encountered in Minecraft? Mine was completely weird and confusing o.O I was in my survival world and I climbed a mountain that was behind my house, and I saw very weird cobble structure leading to a small little lava flow. It was really creepy cause that doesn't usually happen often. maybe it was a glitch or biome bug? I also didn't make that structure. I had screenshots but I had reset my Minecraft to reduce lag :/
Weirdest thing I ever saw was on one of my first worlds. I encountered a village sitting on water near an ocean, and decided to explore it. I checked out the blacksmith's place and his chest was, somehow, sitting on the ceiling instead of the floor. To top it all off every villager that lived in that village shoved themselves into a single 4x4 village house and never came out, despite me building a fairly large platform out of dirt around the entire place.
I once saw a part of a forest where the trees were missing blocks of wood and some without leaves.. I had never touched that forest and I doubt an enederman would take a block of wood from the middle of a tree or a block of leaves... or I dont know why a creeper would be up there and exploding at random.. I just.. that was random and weird for me.
I built walls around a village and I expect spiders to clime over it. So a spider comes over it and I noticed that it was carrying a package. A Creeper was riding a spider! All the explosive potential of a creeper with the speed and climbing abilities of a spider.
I have seen a lot of wierd stuff I once saw a chicken jockey with a villager zombie in a survival world. I have also seen a natural charged creeper and a pink sheep In creative. I once made an upside down snowgolem in a survival world and i laughed so hard!
One of my worlds is also totally bugged and the chunks have like different heights. I play in vanilla minecraft.

Creations are only restricted by your imagination.
This is the weirdest thing that happened, so basically i was just flying around on one of my creative worlds. BUT then i noticed blocks flashing so i set my render distance up to like 8 chunks, and THEN every block started glitching OUT. I can't really explain in words but here i posted a video of it. Unfortunately i can't recreate the glitch after i closed the world and reopened it D=, luckily i was able to capture it with my recorder =D. This is Minecraft 1.8 by the way.
