So I am making A skin,And I thought to myself "Do Pixels Really matter?" and then I made this and now here I am asking the question to the world

I don't understand your question, but pixels are very important, minecraft textures are made of pixels, textures of any other game is made of pixels, there are pixels in your computer screen.



Even the image above is made of pixels.

If you are wondering if pixels are necessary for skins, my answer is yes, they are. Without pixels the player wouldn't look like it belonged in the minecraft world. Plus, it is so much easier for the average minecrafter to make a personal skin, with pixels creating a grid. Otherwise, we would all be wearing the same few skins, or maybe there wouldn't be custom skin makers at all.

Without pixels digital imagery could not exist. So, yeah. Pixels are rather important.

So how about 0s and 1s?!

I think you mean shading. And no you don't need it but it looks a lot better if you shade it just look up nonshaded skins and then look up shaded skins see the difference?

Not quite true, see the Vectrex game console http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vectrex sold between 1982 and 1984, not a pixel in sight.

Pixels are very important they add further depth to a skin and make it look a bit less blocky. Best of luck to you. Cheers!

Even if the skin is all one color with no shading or details whatsoever it's still made out of pixels, it's just that if they're all the same color you can't see where one pixel ends and the next begins.

He's meaning do pixels matter in building statues. They do, and that's why statues are generally the same height, unless you want to double or triple it...

Um can anyone make me a skin? I don't care how it looks but I need someone to do it atleast because I do not know how to pixel/shade good
