This is a simple way to be able to use the cleared out, water-free area that the Water Temple provides(or its shape at least), without having to tediously replace every block if you want a new look.
To begin, find a Water Temple, whether by creating a new world or what have you. Then, from top to bottom, sponge out the entire building. Finally, downgrade your Minecraft to before the Water Temples were implemented. Voilà! Where the Temple previously was is completely clear of water, yet none of the blocks are there. You can now easily fill the water-free underwater area with whatever blocks you please, saving you the hassle of changing all the blocks! **WARNING** if you go through the entire process, you can reload the world and still use the new snapshot, but all your new blocks will replace the temple. However, the temple blocks will appear wherever they can, and this may cause some severe glitchiness.
