The mobs that we have in vanilla are already pretty diverse and all, but what if you could create a new mob? What would it do, and how could you find it? Would it be in the over, or underworld?
Here's one that I made up...
Water Dragon~
- Spawns in waterbodies larger than 100x100
- 120 health
- Attacks with 'waves' using a scaled up visual of when you hit the ground
I want to say fire dragon so much, but it feels unoriginal since you already said water dragon. Unfortunately, I can't really think of anything ATM, but i'll post back if I do.
Just because something is already in a mod doesn't mean it can't be in vanilla. If that were the case we wouldn't have pistons, cauldrons, potions, emeralds, village(r)s or many other things.

- Attack strength: Easy: 2 Normal: 4 Hard: 6
- Drops Water Dragon Egg
2. Add an overworld boss. Creepzilla!
Size - 50 times that if a regular creeper!
Health - 500
Spawn when a creeper is struck be lighting in the Extreme Hills Biome
Attack: Randomly spawns creepers in a 50-block radius.
Drops 10-20 TNT + 1000 experience upon death.
