Paulsoaresjr.... I would know how to punch a tree without him
IKR? Before I called creepers slimes, until I found him. Even though slimes were in the game at the time and I knew about them. What was wrong with me???
Well a let's player named Kikoskia started playing minecraft a bit on his channel. He did a video of his world and it looked so cool then he started doing a hardcore run and I just enjoyed the survival part of it. So I bought it because of him.
After a while I started to experiment with redstone so I went on youtube and found some Etho videos to watch about redstone. Help me a lot now I'm addicted to the mindcrackers. And who cares what some elitist in this thread say about some youtubers not remembering EVERY SINGLE RECIPE. They're popular because they can be entertaining and fun to watch unlike you.
I watched my older brother play it and I caught on to it. He was great at building but was decent at surviving.
Funny, because I'm the complete opposite.

Message me yours if you want to trade in Animal Crossing: New Leaf or just need some friends to play with. I can also do Pokemon trades in Pokemon X(or Y), but I don't have any good stuff, and the only good stuff I have is not for trade so...send me requests anyway.

Yep , paulsoars. I forgot if i watched it before orcafter i got mc . I playing a little bit of singleolayers. After a little bit i just dived into multiplayer.
I learned how to make a sword and pickaxe from the Yogscast when I first started watching them. After I bought the game I started to learn for myself, sometimes referring to the Wiki if needed. The constant Minecraft Let's Plays are a really great way to help new players get acquainted with the game.
I was taught by YouTubers how to play Minecraft, famous or not. I sometimes watched little 25-second videos on how to craft things or how to do simple controls. Those were by less famous ones. The more famous ones taught me some more complex things, like certain redstone concepts.

No, I learned on my own. However they have played an immense part in my MC experience. BajanCanadian first got me on PVP. JeromeASF Taught me how to play the game without being overly competitive. And Sky was the one who finally got me into making my own videos. I owe all of them so much.
Seananners was the first YouTuber I watched do Minecraft, then I moved on to watch X and Paulsoaresjr.
After finishing X's series, still hungry for more Minecraft let's plays, I found Coestar, who is the YouTuber that I learned the absolute most from. Coestar now ranks as my favorite YouTuber for any game.
I use the Minecraft Wiki to Craft and Watch Let's Players like CaptainSparklez, PEwdiePie (his very old Videos) and Markiplier to see hw to do other stuff in minecraft from Mob Farmer to the Nether to Villagers to Mods, and Until now, I know alot of Minecraft
Yes, I started off watching Joey Graceffa play Minecraft, then I thought it looked fun so I purchased the game and watched various survival and new player tutorials to figure out how to even walk lol.
I learned about Minecraft through Youtubers, specifically Coestar and Guude, by watching their videos. However, I learned how to play by myself and became familiar with its mechanics and game-play.
1. Not true. The next time that you watch a youtube video, remember what you said about youtubers being idiots
2. This is an opinion, not a fact. The way you are saying it makes it sound like you are stating a fact.
Really? i bet it took you hours to make your first stone pickaxe then O_O

I am an artist. All the art you see on my profile is by me, if it's not I will say so and whom its owner is.

Then I bought Minecraft XBOX.
Then Minecraft PC.
And then I started getting on the Wiki a lot.
And I turned out pretty good.
