In normal worlds, it's fall damage. I dun't care for it until I'm 50 blocks fallen and still a few blocks 'till impact.
In Hardcore worlds, slimes in general. They dun't do the damage to kill me, they slam me into lethal situations as babies. Pushing me into dungeons I'm not ready for, off cliffs when huntin' diamond, onto ledges where creepers await to explode my face...
My avatar-Madison Gotha. She knows various weapons, she's a mage/sage, and is somewhat immortal. Like the one time I forgot I was using a plug-in to fill in a lake with lava. So 20 minutes latter I'm back at my layer and go to right click open a chest. I forgot I had arrows in my hand (the tool that triggers the plug-in) and all of a sudden my entire lab is a giant pool of lava.
P.S. chests do not burn up in lava. Case you ever need to know.
The last 5 or so times I have died it was because I wasn't paying attention and threw an ender pearl while my health was low. My fault for using ender pearls like a mad woman,
Lava, because of evil creatures (I'm looking at you, skeletons) smacking me right into a nice pool of lava. And then I die. And then I rage. And then I get over it. And then the whole cycle repeats ALL over again.

I mostly play modded survival, so I usually keep a set of Power Armor or something on when I'm mining. Also, skeletons. I hate those little buggers.

Yeah, I despise slimes.
