I remember something about hats being added, I thought I saw a picture of a top hat at one point. I have been searching for traces of hats in wiki and youtube but havent found anything.

But I cant remember much about it and it would be nice if I could see some pictures or more information about it.

Really? When exactly was this, because I've been playing since 1.0, and I haven't heard of this..

I believe this was a joke at Notch's expense (he is known for his hats).

Of course, some rudimentary hats are possible by altering your skin, but nothing pointy or with wide brims.

It's Team Fortress 2, a game extremely well-known for its emphasis on customizing your characters with hats from the Mann Co. Company. If you don't have a hat, then you are considered "poor and Irish".

I did some searching for any mention of adding hats by Notch or Mojang, but I found nothing. Are you talking about the "hat" skin section?

No Im not, but the hats I guess werent talked about enough for me to remember till now. But whatever just wanted to see if somebody could shed some light on it.
