It was nice a few years ago before the whole continent of Europe and the United states played it. The last Youtuber I have liked watching was like Etho from about two years ago.
i blame sky for the spread and for the people who want proof sky has the 28th most subscribers of any channel
I've noticed that younger Minecrafters tend to go more for the PVP factions stuff (They also tend to be obsessed with Sky). That said, there are plenty of non-pvp'ers out there, who tend to be older, I believe.
I think the main difference isn't actually age. I think it's a difference in GAMERS. There's console gamers who play a lot of first person shooters and of course they're going to gravitate toward factions and pvp because it's what they know and enjoy. Then there's the artists and rpg gamers who tend to prefer lighter/cooporative fare.
look on the bright side,at least it is not roblox, and also you should probably play whitelisted vanilla servers seeing as they usually have good communities.
SCREW YOU GUYS!! Minecraft has gotten rather rotten but it is still Minecraft. Plus i really enjoy Skydoesminecraft
No, it's now become the video game equivalent of Wikipedia: "The game that anyone can edit". In other words, the game is beginning to turn into whatever anybody wants it to be. Just compare the updates from early versions of MineCraft with the most recent ones. In Alpha 1.0.1, we got Redstone, a original idea. In Beta 1.8, Mojang added a hunger meter, something that have changed the game in a huge way. Now we come to the time in which Jeb and Dinnerbone decide to start accepting input from the community on what should be added to the game. In 1.6, they added horses that were modeled by a mod author, and in the most recent snapshot, they've added around 14 new flowers, something that has no effect on gameplay at all and is an idea that's been around the forums for a while in popular mods like ExtraBiomesXL and Biomes O' Plenty.
To me, this looks like Mojang has run out of ideas and have decided to begin merging popular mod features into the game. You're going to tell me that this is still MineCraft?
I agree, i hate factions and pvp servers. I miss the old survival and creative servers where players cooperated in building and didn't just kill each other. However I disagree about hacks, they always existed and always will exist. I'm sure many of us (Including myself) have used them. As for plugins I disagree too, not all servers use the same plugins. If you don't like a plugin or gameplay style of a server, don't play on it.
hi ive noticed some things the past year that look bad:
1.pvp has tooken over its always FACTION FACTION FACTION PVP PVP PVP im getting tired of it if you say they enjoy competitivity minecraft to me is about being a community not barbaricly slaughetering eachother for a few daimonds and if they want competitivity theres still cod
2. youtubers have gotten annoying: sky antvenom bluexhephos chimmneyswift syndicate
3.minecraft is now known everywhere im proud but still its MINECRAFT MINECRAFT now at my school and it really erks me that they think they are cool because they play it
4.people follow in skys footsteps and go BUDDR everywhere
5.many hackers these days D: god dammit nodus
6. servers are starting to get a bit unlegit i mean look at all the plugins these days ik some are required like anti cheat and esstentials but thats kinda it..
i probs missed alot out but you can name more
It's not minecraft you should be asking about here lmao but rather the entire world.
This generation has gone bad yes indeed, bad as a rotten bushel of apples, it's so bad that I cannot even say a tenth of what I would like to for fear it would certainly offend someone lol.
Going back though on the subject of hackers, we have it made it the shade with marmalade compared to other games. Most of those who play Minecraft don't realize just how good they have it and they should spend more of that time enjoying it while it lasts instead of looking for reasons to be upset and complain.
Now I'm not saying that you are doing any of this but more just to say that there is way too much bickering and complaining, whining and overall madness in this community than is deserved. Considering that we only had to pay for the game once versus every month like most other games online.. we should be grateful that Jeb and Dinnerbone kiss all of our asses non stop with new content, rather than hating down their necks non stop for a game we stopped paying for, since day one.
If we were actually paying their wages ... it would be a different story entirely.
